Back in 1996, I began editing natural-history books and magazines. Saying that makes me feel old!
I have been a staff member in the offices of the RSPB, Birdwatch Magazine, DK and various BBC magazines, especially BBC Wildlife. I am also a busy freelance editor who has worked for many other publishers.
Over the years, it has been a joy to edit and commission a host of well-known writers. They range from TV personalities to nature writers, newspaper journalists, conservationists and scientists. Always, I work hard to increase the diversity of contributors.
